Description
Following years of testing and consistent use as well as client feedback, we have found that the DBTechnologies B-Hype M is the best all-around portable (wheeled) battery-powered speaker.
These speakers come as standard with a handheld microphone as well as a protective cover for when there is light drizzle.
In tests, we have found that the handheld microphone can give a good 60m connection (line of sight). There is an option to swap the handheld microphone for a headset/bodypack for hands-free use if you let us know when booking.
The speaker incorporates a retractable handle along with wheels on the bottom for easy portability when you need to use it on the go. A handle can also be found on the side.
Connectivity-wise, it has a Mic/Line in as well as a stereo input. There is a talk-over function which automatically lowers the music when the wireless microphone is used.
If you want to use Bluetooth you are covered; there is also an SD card slot and USB input.
A full battery charge will give you 4 hours of use.
It operates in Channel 70 (863-865 MHz) so doesn't need any special licensing to use as this is the free frequency range.
The unit can be pole-mounted or left on the floor.
Should you require a battery-powered speaker that can stay in one location then we do offer other models which don't have wheels but do have advanced features in comparisons such as longer battery life and increased volume.
